Marketing Your customers want

Customers want to buy. They don't want to be sold to.

Embrace UX Copywriting... or lose money

User experience (UX) begins the moment a customer is introduced to you – whether from a friend, a Google search, or a social media post.

If you don’t anticipate buyers’ needs and guide them through the buying process, they get frustrated and leave your site.

And you lose money.

If you use UX copywriting, however, it empowers buyers to  “self-select” that your product is the right solution for their problem.

That makes them happy and you happy.

My Process

Four Step Roadmap to Success

Consult

First we talk about your project and goals.

This is a 15-30 minute initial discussion that’s FREE.

Plan

A few days after our consultation, I’ll email you a proposal.

Once you approve the action-plan (and pay the upfront fee), I go to work. The proposal includes deliverables, as well as a timeline.

Create

I look through any relevant materials (including your website), and conduct market research.

This may include speaking with your sales team, and/or customers.

Then I create whatever is needed to mesh your customers’ needs with your products.

Deliver

My deliverable is usually a multi-page Word or Google doc.

It includes your new content, as well as any insights into improving your sales process.

And every project comes with two rounds of revisions, if needed.

You can expect the same thing I expect: Professionalism.

This means I have a passion for strategy and writing. I am attentive to details and meet deadlines. I care about my clients, their projects, and their goals. I also stand behind my work 100%. I want you to be happy and satisfied.

Short answer – maybe.

Long answer – I’ve spent ten years creating marketing materials including white papers, web pages, magazine articles, and other things.

If you need something that’s not listed, contact me. If I don’t do what you need, I probably know someone who does. And I’ll give you a referral!

Although I’m not a designer, I frequently partner with graphic artists to complete projects.

Contact me and usually I can take a project from initial idea to completion.

Short answer – no I don’t guarantee results.

Long answer – I encourage testing and I can help you conduct A/B split tests to see what works best.

Testing is a basic principle of any type of marketing.

It’s important to set up periodic tests because stuff changes – like the meaning of words. And even mind readers, like UX copywriters, can’t predict that!

Usually both are appropriate for the work I do. Contact me we’ll spend a few minutes learning about the particulars of your project and your timeline. Together, we’ll see if we’re a good fit.

Then I’ll email you a proposal.  If we agree on the details, I’ll send you a contract.

A deposit is also required (usually 50% in advance of starting the project).

I Strive to make My clients happy
